SOLID STYLE LOWERING LINK TO FIT ALL YEARS FZ6R
Included with purchase is a Solid Style Lowering Link to fit all years FZ6R and usage instructions.
We recommend our adjustable kickstand. See our other listings for them and our discount kits.
Keep in mind if your motorcycle is lowered, the frame will be closer to the ground. The kickstand is mounted to the frame and will need to be shortened to retain the lean angle the bike needs to keep from tipping over.
CNC'd from solid aluminum, this lowering link mounts between the shock and the swingarm and will lower the tail of the bike 1 1/2 inches. This is perfect for anyone who needs just a little more of their feet touching the ground at intersections and on slopes. Also great for that "lowered stance" look.
Installation is a snap:
•Support the tail of the bike
•Remove plastic bodywork pieces on sides of seat
•Remove seats
•Remove bolts and raise front of fuel tank
•Disconnect both ends of rear shock
•Connect Soupys Lowering Link to top of shock as shown in picture
•Reconnect lower shock mount
•Reassemble motorcycle

*A note about 3 hole lowering links*  Although these lowering links have 3 holes, they actually offer only one that is usable.  The first hole is equal to stock height (useless) and the third hole will usually rub the rear tire on the inside of the rear fender when the bike hits a bump.  This leaves you with the second hole only.  If you want to fine-tune the ride height of your bike to fit you, these are the adjustable links that you need!
